Meon Valley Trail

A traffic-free walking and cycling path following the route of the former Meon Valley Railway, which closed in 1955. The trail runs from Wickham northwards through the Meon Valley towards West Meon, passing through some of the finest countryside in Hampshire. The trail surface is suitable for walking, cycling, and horse riding. It provides access to the valley landscape, with views across farmland, chalk downland, and the river corridor. The trail is one of the most popular recreational routes in the area.
